in common with Palin is an X chromosome.<span>&nbsp; </span>I respectfully disagree.<span>&nbsp; </span>Governor
Palin knows what it is like to be a woman, a mother, a daughter, a
sister - things the two men on the Democratic ticket can never fully

vulnerable. She knows what it's like to worry that you are pregnant
when you don't want to be or that you are not pregnant when you want to
be.<span> <br /></span></span></font><font face="Calibri"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span></span>Sarah Palin knows what it is to experience the joys
and sorrows of motherhood, to nurse a baby while holding down a job, to
leave for work in the morning with a toddler tugging at your pant leg,
or to have your children calling you at work to diffuse squabbles or
ask for help with homework.<span>&nbsp; </span>She knows that once you get to work you have to speak twice as 
loud and twice as often to be heard and work twice a hard to go half as far.<span>&nbsp; </span>She knows what it is to be a member of the second sex.</span><span style="font-size: 12pt;"></span></font></div>


<div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt; line-height: normal;"><font face="Calibri"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><font style="font-size: 1.25em;">G</font>ender is the most fundamental human characteristic.<span> </span></span></font><span class="mt-enclosure mt-enclosure-image" style="display: inline;"><a href="http://www.hillarygreenmountain.com/torsos.jpg"><img alt="torsos.jpg" src="http://www.hillarygreenmountain.com/assets_c/2008/09/torsos-thumb-180x180.jpg" class="mt-image-left" style="margin: 0pt 20px 20px 0pt; float: left;" height="180" width="180" /></a></span><font face="Calibri"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The first comment made when a child is born is either, "It's a girl" or "It's a boy."<span>&nbsp; </span>From
that second on, boys and girls live in parallel universes in the same
culture. From the nursery room to the board room, boys and girls are
given different messages about their respective roles in the world.<span>&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>At
the hospital they are given different types of names and wrapped in
different colored blankets. Once home, baby girls and boys wear
fundamentally different clothes and play with different toys.<span>&nbsp; </span>This
differentiation extends through school where girls are given less
attention, picked less frequently to answer questions and placed less
often in advanced science and math classes.<span>&nbsp; </span>Once in the
workforce, women are steered into lower-paying careers, paid less for
the same work, and forced to juggle the responsibilities of work and
home.<span>&nbsp; </span>You can't learn what it is to be a woman, unless
you are one. You can't have a government essentially devoid of women
that knows what's best for women.<span>&nbsp; </span>You can't legislate for women, without women.<span>&nbsp; </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt;"></span></font></div>


<div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt; line-height: normal;"><font face="Calibri"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><font style="font-size: 1.25em;">A</font>fter
the last Democratic Primary was over and it was clear Senator Clinton
was not going to get the Democratic nomination, myself, and a small
group of Clinton supporters met with Senator McCain and Carly Fiorina.<span>&nbsp; </span>I
personally explained to Senator McCain that women comprise well over
half of the population, yet are underrepresented in every branch of
government.<span>&nbsp; </span>I asked him loudly and clearly to choose a
woman for the VP slot and to increase the number of women in the
cabinet and on the Supreme Court.<span>&nbsp; </span>Senator McCain listened
respectfully to my request. Representatives of The New Agenda also met
with Carly Fiorina as well as members of the Obama campaign to make
similar requests.</span><span style="font-size: 12pt;"></span></font></div>


<div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt; line-height: normal;"><font face="Calibri"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><font style="font-size: 1.25em;">A</font>fter the Democratic Primary, I was&nbsp;personally in contact with a member of Obama's Finance Committee.<span>&nbsp; </span>He left several messages on my office phone, "urging" me to support Senator Obama.<span>&nbsp; </span>We
had numerous contentious conversations and I finally told him I would
be happy to vote for Senator Obama and rally other Hillary supporters
to vote for Obama but in return I wanted Obama to pledge gender parity
in the cabinet.<span>&nbsp; </span>I foolishly thought equal representation in government was a reasonable request.<span>&nbsp; </span>"What if there aren't qualified women you still expect us to appoint half women to the cabinet?" he replied.<span>&nbsp; </span>I was confused. "There are 300 million people in this country; you're telling me you can't find ten qualified women?"<span>&nbsp; </span>He responded, "You can't have that." We had no further conversations.<span>&nbsp; </span>There was nothing more to say. </span><span style="font-size: 12pt;"></span></font></div>


<div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt; line-height: normal;"><font face="Calibri"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><font style="font-size: 1.25em;">W</font>eeks later I approached a training session for DNC canvassers at a park in my neighborhood.<span>&nbsp; </span>Eager
to practice their new skills, they all ran up to me, "Do you support
Senator Obama? Do you want to donate money to the DNC?"<span>&nbsp; </span>After explaining that I was a Hillary supporter, I again made my request.<span>&nbsp; </span>I will support Senator Obama if he will pick a woman as his running mate and promise gender parity in the cabinet.<span>&nbsp; </span>The men in the group openly laughed at me and found my request ridiculous.<span>&nbsp; </span>I looked at the horrified faces of the newly minted female canvassers.<span>&nbsp; </span>"They're laughing at you too," I muttered. </span><span style="font-size: 12pt;"></span></font></div>


<div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt; line-height: normal;"><font face="Calibri"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><font style="font-size: 1.25em;">N</font>ot one to give up, I contacted a daughter of a friend of mine who is a policy advisor for Obama.<span>&nbsp; </span>She assured me Obama was a good guy, so I posed my request to her.<span>&nbsp; </span>She generously responded, "I'll ask him." When I did not hear back from her in a few days, I shot her another email.<span>&nbsp; </span>She told me how disappointed she was in me for making such a stupid request.<span>&nbsp; </span>Obama was on the "right" side of the issues.<span>&nbsp; </span>Why did it matter whether men or women legislated those issues?<span>&nbsp; </span>I guess the answer from Obama was No.<span>&nbsp; </span>What saddened me was her mother was one of this nation's greatest champions of title nine, educational equity and gender parity.<span>&nbsp; </span>Her
mother and I counted the number of pictures of boys and girls in text
books, male and female cartoon characters, and documented the
underrepresentation of girls in math classes in our nation's schools.<span>&nbsp; </span>Yes, policy is important but who decides and delivers that policy is even more important.<span>&nbsp; </span>As Marshall McLuhan profoundly noted, "The medium is the message."<span>&nbsp; </span>Children incorporate many of their perceptions about gender by age&nbsp;five.<span> <br /></span></span></font><span class="mt-enclosure mt-enclosure-image" style="display: inline;"><a href="http://www.hillarygreenmountain.com/riverbend_teacrowd01sm.jpg"><img alt="riverbend_teacrowd01sm.jpg" src="http://www.hillarygreenmountain.com/assets_c/2008/09/riverbend_teacrowd01sm-thumb-300x200.jpg" class="mt-image-left" style="margin: 0pt 20px 20px 0pt; float: left;" height="200" width="300" /></a></span><font face="Calibri"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span></span>Little
girls won't understand if Sarah Palin is pro-life or pro-choice, believes in gun control or is a member of the
NRA, but they will know the Vice-President of the United States of
America is a girl and that alone will alter their perceptions of
themselves. </span><span style="font-size: 12pt;"></span></font></div>


<div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt; line-height: normal;"><font face="Calibri"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><font style="font-size: 1.25em;">I</font> have given my loyalty to the Democratic Party for decades.<span>&nbsp; </span><font style="font-size: 1.25em;"><font style="font-size: 0.8em;">M</font><font style="font-size: 0.8em;">y</font></font> party, which is comprised primarily of women, has not put a woman on a presidential ticket for 24 years.<span>&nbsp; </span>My
party refused to nominate my candidate, Hillary Clinton, for president
or vice president, even though she received more votes than any other
candidate in history.<span>&nbsp; </span>My party stood silently by as Hillary Clinton was eviscerated by the mainstream media.<span>&nbsp; </span>My
party was mute while the main stream media&nbsp;repeatedly called Clinton a
bitch and symbolically called me and every other woman in this country
a bitch.<span>&nbsp; </span>My party was disturbingly silent when the main
stream media commented on Hillary's body or the shrillness of her
voice, reminding me and every other woman the fundamental disrespect we
endure on a daily basis.<span>&nbsp; </span>My party's candidate was mute when Rev. Jeremiah Wright and Father
Pfleger openly mocked Senator Clinton from the pulpit of Trinity United
Church of Christ.<span>&nbsp; </span>My party's candidate was silent when the rapper Ludicrous released a new song calling Hillary a bitch.<span>&nbsp; </span>My
party and it's candidate gave their tacit approval for the attacks on
Senator Hillary Clinton and consequently women in general.</span></font><span class="mt-enclosure mt-enclosure-image" style="display: inline;"><a href="http://www.hillarygreenmountain.com/Hillary10.jpg"><img alt="Hillary10.jpg" src="http://www.hillarygreenmountain.com/assets_c/2008/08/Hillary10-thumb-120x119.jpg" class="mt-image-right" style="margin: 0pt 0pt 20px 20px; float: right;" height="119" width="120" /></a></span></div>


<div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt; line-height: normal;"><font face="Calibri"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><font style="font-size: 1.25em;">I</font> have a choice.<span>&nbsp; </span>I
can vote for my party and it's candidates which have demonstrated a
blatant disrespect for women and a fundamental lack of integrity or I
can vote for the Republican ticket which has heard our concerns and put
a woman on the ticket but with whom I fundamentally don't agree on most
issues.<span>&nbsp; </span>If Democratic women wait for the perfect woman to come along, we will never elect a woman.<span>&nbsp; </span>We have to seize opportunity where it presents itself.<span>&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>Besides, the Democratic Party is no longer my home.<span>&nbsp; </span>I have no home, but this election I will
 make my bed somewhere else.<span>&nbsp; </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt;"></span></font></div>


<div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt; line-height: normal;"><font face="Calibri"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><font style="font-size: 1.25em;">I</font>
respect Gloria Steinem's right to support the presidential ticket of
her choice but she is openly trying to derail Sarah Palin's historic
candidacy.<span>&nbsp; </span>As Madeleine Albright said, "There is a special place in hell for women who don't help other women."<span>&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>I will vote for McCain-Palin.<span>&nbsp; </span></span></font><span class="mt-enclosure mt-enclosure-image" style="display: inline;"><a href="http://www.hillarygreenmountain.com/w%20John.jpg"><img alt="w John.jpg" src="http://www.hillarygreenmountain.com/assets_c/2008/08/w%20John-thumb-250x171.jpg" class="mt-image-center" style="margin: 0pt auto 20px; text-align: center; display: block;" height="171" width="250" /></a></span><font face="Calibri"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><font style="font-size: 1.25em;">I</font> urge other women to do the same.<span>&nbsp; </span>I
might not personally agree with Palin on every issue and I promise to
the first person knocking on her door, if Roe v. Wade, or any other
legislation that goes against the rights of women is threatened. But in
Governor Palin I find a woman of integrity, who not only talks the talk
but walks the walk.<span>&nbsp; </span>I can work with that.<span>&nbsp; </span>I will work with that.<span>&nbsp; </span>When
I walk down the street, I don't have Democrat printed on my forehead,
but my gender is obvious to everyone and impacts every interaction in
my life.<span>&nbsp; </span>Since my country is far from gender neutral, right now for me gender trumps everything else.<span>&nbsp; </span>I urge other women to join me in this fight for equality.<span>&nbsp; </span>Sometimes opportunities occur where you least expect them.<span>&nbsp;&nbsp; </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt;"></span></font></div>

        <![CDATA[<p class="MsoNormal"><b><font style="font-size: 1.25em;">Sexism and Sarah Palin</font></b></p><p class="MsoNormal">It started Friday afternoon with John Roberts on
CNN, and then in a slow build over the weekend it became clear what the
leading sexist charge would be against Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin: Is it
appropriate for her to accept the vice presidential nomination given
the magnitude of her current family responsibilities?</p>    <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p></o:p>The
question came not just from members of the media but also from voters
around the country who wrote in to news organizations and on blogs.</p>    <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p></o:p>The
obvious retort is whether anyone would ask the same question of the
father of a four-month-old with Down Syndrome and a pregnant teenager.
We think not. </p>    <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p></o:p>Radio
talk host Ed Schultz on CNN Monday night took things even further by
declaring that Palin would not be able to focus on her job given her
family distractions.</p>    <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p></o:p>And
Washington Post columnist Sally Quinn wrote: "Of course, women can be
good mothers and have careers at the same time. I've done both. Other
women in public office have children...but...a mother's role is different
from a father's."</p>            <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p></o:p>The message? Sarah Palin: bad mother.<br /><o:p>&nbsp;</o:p><br />On
that count we have no doubt these accusations would never be made about
a man. In that sense, Sally Quinn is right - and that's why things have
got to change.<br /><o:p>&nbsp;</o:p><br />The
very notion that Sarah Palin should not have accepted this nomination
because she is a mother with demanding challenges underscores just how
far we have to go. </p>  <p class="MsoNormal">WomenCount has promised that we would jump on these examples of sexism. Here's where YOU come in.<span>&nbsp; </span><u>Tell the media to back off, and we'll forward your messages to the right places.</u><span>&nbsp; </span></p>        <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p>&nbsp;</o:p><br />Stamping
out sexism is about shifting the culture. It will be good for America
to watch Sarah Palin on the campaign trail - bouncing from parenting to
politics. That's how most women function - multi-tasking, leaning on
friends and family, and waking up each morning and doing it all again.<o:p>&nbsp;</o:p><br /></p><p class="MsoNormal">Throughout
the weekend, we have been asked about WomenCount's views on Sarah Palin
as the Republican nominee. It is important to distinguish between the
broader issue of sexism and the ideology of an individual.<span>&nbsp; </span>WomenCount was born of the passion its founders had for Hillary Clinton's clear view of social issues and progressive values.<span>&nbsp; </span>We cannot pretend that Governor Palin meets any standard of progressive politics or social values.</p>    <p class="MsoNormal">But
regardless of the candidates' ideology, we will work to stamp out
sexism when we see it on the campaign trail. To paraphrase the words of

Palin against misogynist smears not because we like her or support her,

committed to be attacked by some of the feminists and Democratic women?<span style="">&nbsp; </span>Because she doesn't support abortion rights
for all, all the time, any time, no matter what?<span style="">&nbsp; </span>Neither do a majority of the young women of <st1:country-region><st1:place>America</st1:place></st1:country-region>.</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style=""><br /></span></p><br /><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style=""></span>Things have changed.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">Abortion is now a very selective
right, very tightly defined morally by a vast majority of people.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>It is no longer the cause of the day.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>Roe v Wade has its limits.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>If women define social justice in terms of
abortion alone, abortion above all else, they will be voting for Obamas
forever, male chauvinist pigs, sexist and narcissist, with no women around him as
senior advisers, with no women as partners, with no women as pipelines to
policy from the people.</p>

collect the signatures.&nbsp;&nbsp;This proved to be slow going since Democratic
Party officials would not provide contact lists for delegates.&nbsp;&nbsp;The 300

national and international mainstream media attention, petitions
started pouring in.&nbsp;&nbsp;When they received the requisite number of

rules state that no more than 600 petitions can be submitted.&nbsp;&nbsp;They're
working on it.</div><div style="margin: 0px; min-height: 14px;"><br /></div><div style="margin: 0px;">"We've
got well over 300 petitions now in hand," explained Sue Castner, a
Clinton delegate from Portland, OR.&nbsp;&nbsp;"Since we never consulted with
Senator Clinton's campaign, we don't know if 'the petition that
wouldn't die' had anything to do with the two joint campaign
announcements made last week.&nbsp;&nbsp;We will probably never know but it

include a governor or two, county Democratic party chairs, members of

Clinton decides to file the petition, in which case, their names will

a meager reward for those delegates who saw the nomination process as a
path to party unity and signed this historic document, a numbered

saw and heard those personages and representatives carry the instant messages
right on camera from the Obama campaign through their Blackberries to the live
broadcasts.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>But never once came a
message from the Obama campaign nor <i style="">the
One</i> himself to stomp on the sexism and blatant misogyny expressed against
Senator Clinton.<o:p><br /></o:p><br />Month
after month, night after night, the cant went on, the skewed reports, lopsided
comments and vicious notations from men and women that belittled women and
womanhood in the guise of vetting Senator Clinton or describing her followers
as inadequate to the task of selecting the "correct" candidate--<i style="">the One</i>.</span><br /></p><span class="mt-enclosure mt-enclosure-image" style="display: inline;"><img alt="Spirit of Womanhood.jpg" src="http://www.hillarygreenmountain.com/Spirit%20of%20Womanhood.jpg" class="mt-image-center" style="margin: 0pt auto 20px; text-align: center; display: block;" height="750" width="480" /></span><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><o:p></o:p><br />When
the General Election ends in the astounding defeat of Obama by the very same
women and voting supporters of Hillary Clinton there is no doubt that the score

Obama pivots on his moral failure during the campaign to stand for womanhood,
to speak out, to beat down, to suppress his own campaign and his followers on
the issue of misogyny and sexism.</span><br /></p>Having
claimed superior judgment to all living beings on all issues (the keystone to
his empty rhetoric on all issues and about all history) it amazes and daunts
any sentient being that he and his minions did not see the opportunity to
actually act on his superior judgmental powers.<span style="">&nbsp;
</span>He could have won over half of Hillary's voters with one clear act of
moral courage.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>He could have unified his
Party with one act of manly courage to stand and defend women and defeat the
horrors of misogyny.<br /><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><o:p></o:p><br /></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">He
could have been the leader the nation hoped for and the candidate they may have
flocked to.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>Instead, his and his
campaign's goal from the getgo was to humiliate and diminish Senator
Clinton.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>It worked.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>But in the process he invigorated the
campaign to stop him, to vote NOBAMA, to work with all heart and body and mind
and human resources to see to it that he never gains the White House.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>Deservedly so, he is the creation of his own
failures and weaknesses.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>He is <i style="">the One</i> who was silent and who
conversely empowered the Second Sex to destroy his chance to lead the nation
and the world.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>It is a war with one
possible victor and that victory will belong to the Women of America, not
Barack Obama.<o:p><br /></o:p><br />He
came, he saw and he was defeated.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>It's

a national 'get out the vote' effort around women's issues," says Amy
Siskind. "Our long-term goal is to&nbsp;cultivate and groom women to run for
public office at all levels of government - including the presidency,"
adds Siskind,&nbsp;a f<span style="font-size: 10pt; color: black; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif';"><span>ormer Wall Street executive who is active in Democratic politics and is a founding member of </span><span style="font-size: 10pt; color: black; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif';"><a href="http://together4us.com/" target="_blank">Together4US</a>, which is supporting efforts to put Hillary Clinton's name on the ballot at the Democratic National Convention in Denver. &nbsp;</span></span></p>

first order of business for our group is to persuade candidates for the
presidency, Senate and House to incorporate a number of women's rights
goals and policies into their platforms," says Siskind. These&nbsp;include:&nbsp;</p>

<ul><li>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><font size="2">Helping women establish and run small businesses;&nbsp;</font></div></li></ul>
<ul><li>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><font size="2">Reducing domestic violence;&nbsp;</font></div></li></ul>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><font size="2"><span>A</span>llocating
20 percent more party money to female candidates than to male
candidates until the number of women elected to Congress is on par with
their percentage of the population; and&nbsp;&nbsp;</font></div></li></ul>
<ul><li>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><font size="2">Strengthening FCC regulations to penalize content that denigrates women.&nbsp;&nbsp;</font></div></li></ul>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><font size="2">"One
women's rights issue conspicuously missing from our list: abortion,"
Siskind points out, adding, "It's not that The New Agenda doesn't view
choice as a central women's issue, it's that <i>Roe v. Wade</i> has
been used a single defining issue to hold women voters hostage in the
past. There are many other issues that are important and relevant to a
broad spectrum of women."</font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><font size="2"><span>&nbsp;</span>&nbsp;</font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><font size="2">The
New Agenda also will look to hold men and women in the public eye
accountable when they treat women with disrespect and are dismissive of
issues important to them.&nbsp;"Although several names were put on a 'to do'
list, Chris Matthews was our unanimous choice as the worst offender on
women's issues, therefore the first person on whom we will focus," says
Siskind.&nbsp; </font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><font size="2">&nbsp;</font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><font size="2">Many
of the women who attended The New Agenda's first meeting&nbsp;got to know
each other as a result working with pro-Hillary groups. Attendees

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><font size="2">"This
group is comprised of women who are "gravely concerned about the
mistreatment of Hillary Clinton during the primary season, and&nbsp;the
passion and emotion that resulted from Hillary's mistreatment brought
us together.," says Siskind. &nbsp;</font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><font size="2">&nbsp;</font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><font size="2">"There
was enough brain power in that room to do just about anything.&nbsp;We are
looking to help the women of our country, who often have no voice. We
are hoping to make life better for women in all walks of life."</font></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><font size="2">The New Agenda has already contacted representatives of the McCain and Obama campaigns to press its concerns. </font></p>

we have had a much better dialogue with the McCain campaign, I believe

But even though she were registered, the next step was participation.&nbsp;
So when the time came for the Democratic party precinct and county
meetings, her and others were set to attend.&nbsp; But all type of games
were played from the schedules and the places were deliberately
misrepresented. They would get there and nothing&nbsp; was happening. Or the
meeting was commencing and they wouldn't permit them to come in. They
realized that even with the right to vote, they were not going to get
anywhere if they couldn't participate in the meetings. <br />&nbsp;<br />So
when her and others were barred from the attending and participating in
the Mississippi Democratic Party.&nbsp; They decided in 1963 to hold there
own mock election between: NAACP state president Aaron Henry as the
candidate for Governor and white Tougaloo College Chaplain Edwing King
the candidate for Lieutenant Governor. They had white students from
Yale and Stanford&nbsp; who took two weeks off from school to help canvas
black neighborhoods for the Freedom Vote. On election day over eighty
thousand blacks cast there ballots.&nbsp; <strong>This was Mississippi Freedom Summer 1964.&nbsp; The 'Representation and the Right to Participate'.<br />&nbsp;<br /></strong>Never.
Never in my lifetime would I have thought to see black elected
officials allow the history of the African American community be used
for political gain. I call on all Civil Rights Leaders and Activists no
matter what color, creed, demographic, you may come from to put a stop
to this and to not allow this to play out and continue. They are
destroying everything people worked and died to achieve.&nbsp; That fought
to not be judged based on the color of there skin.&nbsp; They fought to
overcome racial bias.&nbsp; They fought to be able to one day stand in a
country that wasn't racked with attempts of segregation that didn't
allow for fair representation.&nbsp; This is not there message. <br /><br />Labels
of racism applied to achieve a goal was not there message.&nbsp; Using words
of 'racism' when people ask questions or make comments in regards to
experience was not there message. To stand aside and allow this to
continue, to give the appearance that racism is being applied to
Senator Barack Obama will be the undoing of everything we have fought

the black community and this country by labeling everyone 'racist' who

use my back as a path to put Senator Barack Obama on 1600 Penn Ave.&nbsp;
The audacity of this campaign has no bounds.&nbsp; They are promoting racial
divide at every turn, in the media, constant focus to stir the emotions
of those who have experienced true racial divide in there own lives.&nbsp; I
have been called by those of my very own race, the same ones screaming
racism now.&nbsp; From House Nigger for supporting Senator Clinton, to being
told I should be tied up in a bag and thrown in the closest river and
the next time I deployed to Iraq to not come back.&nbsp; And when&nbsp; I
corrected a supporter on Senator Obama's vote he did not have in the
Senate on Iraq, I was told : I hope you die you stupid cu*t the next
time you deploy to Iraq for supporting the cu*t who sent you there.<br />&nbsp;<br />I
have fought a battle daily not for myself, but for those who are unable
to speak for themselves. Nothing worth fighting for is ever easy and
the path to the White House is no exception. For those black elected
officials that are selling out there communities by allowing people
such as Robert Wexler, the media and these organizations to promote the
theme of 'racism' as a political strategy, one day your jobs will be
replaced. The countdown starts today. For those who place color as a
determining factor in electing any government official is throwing away
there chance to have a voice in this country.You can only be a victim

national gas costs is 4.06 for unleaded, over 47 million dont have
health care, over 100,000 people each year die because of medical
errors.&nbsp; And because of high health insurance premiums, millions of
workers have no health insurance coverage because many employers cannot
afford to provide health benefits. And you base your decision only on
race?&nbsp; You have a choice. You have the ability to become part of the
process, and to throw it away on frivolous means affects the lives of
millions.<br />&nbsp;<br />&nbsp;<br /><strong>Rev Al Sharpton</strong>, you used false
scare tactics by stating people will riot if something is 'taken away'
from Senator Barack Obama. Today, for every single person who is
struggling to make ends meet. Who just lost there home. Who have just
lost there job. For those who have lost there homes and there jobs.&nbsp;
You are no longer needed. It is time for us to get rid of of our so
called Civil Rights Leaders who do more for politicians than the
people, just to hear there own sound bytes.&nbsp; Rev Al Sharpton, for
instilling the fear of 'riots', using this tactic to coerce those to a

&nbsp;What happened to the people who supported Hillary? 18,000,000 people. <span style="">&nbsp;</span>The working women? Couples over 65? Blue
collar workers? Young families? Soldiers in <st1:country-region><st1:place>Iraq</st1:place></st1:country-region>
and <st1:country-region><st1:place>Afghanistan</st1:place></st1:country-region>?
They were from all of those groups and plenty of different groups also. <o:p></o:p></p>



<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><o:p></o:p>What happened to their votes?
There was a power struggle, and the people lost the power of their votes.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>To a large extent, the DNC took away Hillary
Clinton's power from the People to accomplish her goals.<o:p></o:p></p>





<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><o:p></o:p>The average American doesn't have
much power. If he's a farmer, nature calls the shots. If he's a worker, his
supervisor and company officials decide what he'll do. If he's in the military,
his (or her) C.O. will give the orders. The People, especially women, who
supported Hillary were influenced by her stated goals (Solutions for <st1:country-region><st1:place>America</st1:place></st1:country-region>)
as printed in her website and declared in her rallies. In those Issues there
was no hint of racism, sexism, geographic bias, etc. Her Issues dealt with <st1:country-region><st1:place>America</st1:place></st1:country-region>'s
priority problems, and Hillary's Solutions were her practical approaches to
solving them, somewhat condensed for her website. <br style="" />
<!--[if !supportLineBreakNewLine]--><br style="" />
<!--[endif]--><o:p></o:p>Hillary may still accomplish something
from her position as senator and may still influence a Democratic majority
congress. But the power of the People to choose their leader was diverted from
Hillary to another person. The power of her voters was stripped away by the
DNC's calculating process. They made a choice, and they prevailed, but their decision
was a warped "selection" process by which Obama announced himself to
be the candidate even though he has yet secured the required delegates to be officially
nominated. <o:p></o:p></p>





<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><o:p></o:p>The DNC leadership should have
resisted their candidate declaring victory based on the delegate count in such
a hotly and closely contested race. In this nomination process, a carefully
followed protocol at the Convention is necessary to identify the winning
nominee. Not only is that imperative, extreme caution must be taken in the openness
of the venue and conduct of the Convention to avoid even the appearance of further
conspiracy to subvert the outcome of the delegates' choice and thereby subvert
the expressed will of the people.<o:p></o:p><br /></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">Hillary's followers whose votes have been virtually canceled do not have to <st1:stockticker>GET</st1:stockticker>
OVER IT. Each voter has the power of <st1:stockticker>ONE</st1:stockticker>
VOTE, and that power has been taken away from women, voters over 65, voters
under 25 who stood in long lines to hear Hillary at rallies. I saw them. I was
there. There were plenty of college students wearing "Nobama" shirts.
<o:p></o:p></p>



<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><o:p></o:p>Hillary supporters do not come
from one age group or profession. <span style="">&nbsp;</span>They
come from college professors to coal miners, from first-time voters excited
about a woman candidate for President, to frail elderly ladies and men. Hillary
supporters stood in line--stood in the rain!--because they wanted her for President.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>I saw them.<span style="">&nbsp;
</span>I was there.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style=""></span>The American public has seen what happened too. While Hillary and Chelsea and Bill
were seriously campaigning about real problems facing Americans and
demonstrating fantastic energy traveling and discussing these Issues with the
American public, Obama was playing to the crowd, making lengthy speeches on ephemeral
subjects that were not relevant to the needs of this country. He has proved
that he can speak uninterrupted for 45 minutes if he has a Teleprompter to coach
him, less time if has to study notes. Also, puzzlingly, there are pauses in his
speeches when he slowly, clumsily searches for the right word--unusual in one
so young. Yet, the Main Stream Media's candidate has monopolized the air waves,
un-vetted, from the beginning of the campaign. Hillary was simultaneously pilloried
in an eruption of misogyny by that same Media.<o:p></o:p></p>



<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><o:p></o:p>A candidate needs special kinds
of personal power to be president: ethical power, spiritual power, and the connective
power of caring what happens to the People she serves. Nobody owns Hillary
Clinton. She still is moved forward by the power of her supporters and the
power of her Ideas and Solutions. <o:p></o:p></p>



<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><o:p></o:p>In Obama's case, his power is supplied
by others. None of it is intrinsically his. Who owns Barack Obama?<span style="">&nbsp; </span>The <st1:stockticker>MSM</st1:stockticker>,
the <st1:City><st1:place>Chicago</st1:place></st1:City> machine, the DNC and
the billionaire money men who have heaped hundreds of millions of dollars on
his campaign from day one own him. <span style="">&nbsp;</span>If he
is to be President, who will the real power in the Oval Office be? <o:p></o:p></p>



<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><o:p></o:p>He is not his own man--the
tsunami of money that has borne him forward in his campaign did not come just
from college students with credit cards or nice old couples writing checks for
exactly 199 dollars so that he wouldn't have to account for the source of his
financing. That much money doesn't come to a junior senator from <st1:State><st1:place>Illinois</st1:place></st1:State>,
particularly from a district in <st1:City><st1:place>Chicago</st1:place></st1:City>
that looks like <st1:place>East Berlin</st1:place> after World War II.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>That money comes from hidden sources that
will pull their strings when it suits them.<span style="">&nbsp;
</span>That is Power that should belong to the People, not his handlers and
high stakes billionaires.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">These are the reasons why
Hillary's People will not accept the cabal inside the DNC, nor its "selection"
process, nor a manipulated convention.<span style="">&nbsp;
</span>They will never accept a candidacy that is bought and spoken for and
that has canceled their votes. By any means necessary, the People, led by

Mott</a> (1793-1880), Quaker reformer and preacher, who worked for abolition,

</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /><br /><span style="font-size: 14pt;">The Declaration of
Sentiments and Resolutions</span> was drafted by <a href="http://www.infoplease.com/cgi-bin/id/A0846516">Elizabeth Cady Stanton</a>
for the women's rights convention at <st1:place><st1:City>Seneca Falls</st1:City>,
 <st1:State>New York</st1:State></st1:place> in 1848. Based on the American
Declaration of Independence, the Sentiments demanded equality with men before
the law, in education and employment. Here, too, was the first pronouncement
demanding that women be given the right to vote. <o:p></o:p></p>

<h3 style="text-align: justify;">Sentiments <o:p></o:p></h3>

<p style="text-align: justify;">When, in the course of human events, it becomes
necessary for one portion of the family of man to assume among the people of
the earth a position different from that which they have hitherto occupied, but
one to which the laws of nature and of nature's God entitle them, a decent
respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes
that impel them to such a course. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all
men and women are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with
certain inalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit
of happiness; that to secure these rights governments are instituted, deriving
their just powers from the consent of the governed. Whenever any form of
government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of those who
suffer from it to refuse allegiance to it, and to insist upon the institution
of a new government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing
its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their
safety and happiness. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments
long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and,
accordingly, all experience has shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer,
while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to
which they were accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations,
pursuing invariably the same object, evinces a design to reduce them under
absolute despotism, it is their duty to throw off such government and to
provide new guards for their future security. Such has been the patient
sufferance of the women under this government, and such is now the necessity
which constrains them to demand the equal station to which they are entitled. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The history of mankind is a history of repeated
injuries and usurpations on the part of man toward woman, having in direct
object the establishment of an absolute tyranny over her. To prove this, let
facts be submitted to a candid world. <o:p></o:p></p>

to destroy her confidence in her own powers, to lessen her self-respect, and to
make her willing to lead a dependent and abject life. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Now, in view of this entire disfranchisement of
one-half the people of this country, their social and religious degradation, in
view of the unjust laws above mentioned, and because women do feel themselves
aggrieved, oppressed, and fraudulently deprived of their most sacred rights, we
insist that they have immediate admission to all the rights and privileges
which belong to them as citizens of the United States. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In entering upon the great work before us, we
anticipate no small amount of misconception, misrepresentation, and ridicule;
but we shall use every instrumentality within our power to effect our object.
We shall employ agents, circulate tracts, petition the state and national
legislatures, and endeavor to enlist the pulpit and the press in our behalf. We
hope this Convention will be followed by a series of conventions embracing
every part of the country. <o:p></o:p></p>

<h3 style="text-align: justify;">Resolutions <o:p></o:p></h3>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><i>Whereas, </i>the great precept of nature is
conceded to be that "man shall pursue his own true and substantial happiness."
Blackstone in his Commentaries remarks that this law of nature, being coeval
with mankind and dictated by God himself, is, of course, superior in obligation
to any other. It is binding over all the globe, in all countries and at all
times; no human laws are of any validity if contrary to this, and such of them
as are valid derive all their force, and all their validity, and all their
authority, mediately and immediately, from this original; therefore, <o:p></o:p></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><i>Resolved,</i> That such laws as conflict, in
any way, with the true and substantial happiness of woman, are contrary to the
great precept of nature and of no validity, for this is superior in obligation
to any other. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><i>Resolved,</i> that all laws which prevent
woman from occupying such a station in society as her conscience shall dictate,
or which place her in a position inferior to that of man, are contrary to the
great precept of nature and therefore of no force or authority. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><i>Resolved,</i> that woman is man's equal, was
intended to be so by the Creator, and the highest good of the race demands that
she should be recognized as such. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><i>Resolved,</i> that the women of this country
ought to be enlightened in regard to the laws under which they live, that they
may no longer publish their degradation by declaring themselves satisfied with
their present position, nor their ignorance, by asserting that they have all
the rights they want. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><i>Resolved,</i> that inasmuch as man, while
claiming for himself intellectual superiority, does accord to woman moral
superiority, it is preeminently his duty to encourage her to speak and teach,
as she has an opportunity, in all religious assemblies. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><i>Resolved,</i> that the same amount of virtue,
delicacy, and refinement of behavior that is required of woman in the social
state also be required of man, and the same transgressions should be visited
with equal severity on both man and woman. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><i>Resolved,</i> that the objection of indelicacy
and impropriety, which is so often brought against woman when she addresses a
public audience, comes with a very ill grace from those who encourage, by their
attendance, her appearance on the stage, in the concert, or in feats of the

<p style="text-align: justify;"><i>Resolved,</i> that woman has too long rested
satisfied in the circumscribed limits which corrupt customs and a perverted
application of the Scriptures have marked out for her, and that it is time she
