Call and write the chairs of the DNC Rules Committee and tell them
you want your vote represented. More people voted for Hillary Clinton
than any primary candidate in American history. 18 million Democrats
voted for a candidate who is now being disappeared by her party.
Why,
when she commands the support of a majority of the voters in her party,
is Hillary being confined to a symbolic role in Denver? By disappearing
Hillary from the Convention what the party bosses are really doing is
DISAPPEARING OUR VOTES. ALL EIGHTEEN MILLION OF THEM.
This is a swindle
of massive proportions, and folks, they are getting away with it. They
are saying that our votes don't matter. That our delegates don't have a
real role at the convention. That those sworn to represent us, to vote
for us in Denver, don't really have a right to vote as it turns out.

THE POWER OF THE PEOPLE?
What happened to the people who supported Hillary? 18,000,000 people. The working women? Couples over 65? Blue
collar workers? Young families? Soldiers in Iraq
and Afghanistan?
They were from all of those groups and plenty of different groups also.
What happened to their votes?
There was a power struggle, and the people lost the power of their votes. To a large extent, the DNC took away Hillary
Clinton's power from the People to accomplish her goals.
The average American doesn't have
much power. If he's a farmer, nature calls the shots. If he's a worker, his
supervisor and company officials decide what he'll do. If he's in the military,
his (or her) C.O. will give the orders. The People, especially women, who
supported Hillary were influenced by her stated goals (Solutions for America)
as printed in her website and declared in her rallies. In those Issues there
was no hint of racism, sexism, geographic bias, etc. Her Issues dealt with America's
priority problems, and Hillary's Solutions were her practical approaches to
solving them, somewhat condensed for her website.
Hillary may still accomplish something
from her position as senator and may still influence a Democratic majority
congress. But the power of the People to choose their leader was diverted from
Hillary to another person. The power of her voters was stripped away by the
DNC's calculating process. They made a choice, and they prevailed, but their decision
was a warped "selection" process by which Obama announced himself to
be the candidate even though he has yet secured the required delegates to be officially
nominated.
The DNC leadership should have
resisted their candidate declaring victory based on the delegate count in such
a hotly and closely contested race. In this nomination process, a carefully
followed protocol at the Convention is necessary to identify the winning
nominee. Not only is that imperative, extreme caution must be taken in the openness
of the venue and conduct of the Convention to avoid even the appearance of further
conspiracy to subvert the outcome of the delegates' choice and thereby subvert
the expressed will of the people.
Hillary's followers whose votes have been virtually canceled do not have to GET
OVER IT. Each voter has the power of ONE
VOTE, and that power has been taken away from women, voters over 65, voters
under 25 who stood in long lines to hear Hillary at rallies. I saw them. I was
there. There were plenty of college students wearing "Nobama" shirts.
Hillary supporters do not come
from one age group or profession. They
come from college professors to coal miners, from first-time voters excited
about a woman candidate for President, to frail elderly ladies and men. Hillary
supporters stood in line--stood in the rain!--because they wanted her for President. I saw them.
I was there.
The American public has seen what happened too. While Hillary and Chelsea and Bill
were seriously campaigning about real problems facing Americans and
demonstrating fantastic energy traveling and discussing these Issues with the
American public, Obama was playing to the crowd, making lengthy speeches on ephemeral
subjects that were not relevant to the needs of this country. He has proved
that he can speak uninterrupted for 45 minutes if he has a Teleprompter to coach
him, less time if has to study notes. Also, puzzlingly, there are pauses in his
speeches when he slowly, clumsily searches for the right word--unusual in one
so young. Yet, the Main Stream Media's candidate has monopolized the air waves,
un-vetted, from the beginning of the campaign. Hillary was simultaneously pilloried
in an eruption of misogyny by that same Media.
A candidate needs special kinds
of personal power to be president: ethical power, spiritual power, and the connective
power of caring what happens to the People she serves. Nobody owns Hillary
Clinton. She still is moved forward by the power of her supporters and the
power of her Ideas and Solutions.
In Obama's case, his power is supplied
by others. None of it is intrinsically his. Who owns Barack Obama? The MSM,
the Chicago machine, the DNC and
the billionaire money men who have heaped hundreds of millions of dollars on
his campaign from day one own him. If he
is to be President, who will the real power in the Oval Office be?
He is not his own man--the
tsunami of money that has borne him forward in his campaign did not come just
from college students with credit cards or nice old couples writing checks for
exactly 199 dollars so that he wouldn't have to account for the source of his
financing. That much money doesn't come to a junior senator from Illinois,
particularly from a district in Chicago
that looks like East Berlin after World War II. That money comes from hidden sources that
will pull their strings when it suits them.
That is Power that should belong to the People, not his handlers and
high stakes billionaires.
These are the reasons why
Hillary's People will not accept the cabal inside the DNC, nor its "selection"
process, nor a manipulated convention.
They will never accept a candidacy that is bought and spoken for and
that has canceled their votes. By any means necessary, the People, led by
Hillary's People will reclaim their Democracy.

IT IS AN OLD HISTORY BEING REPLAYED IN REVERSE IN DENVER. DEMOCRACY PREVENTED SO THE "SELECTED" CAN BE NOMINATED WITH NO OPPOSITION
Thank you for posting this, Bernie! This evening we will have a gathering of delegates who voted for Natl. Delegates to represent Hillary at my house to sign the Declaration of Resolutions. this will also be an organizing effort from Delegates to Delegates to remind them that we voted for them to represent us, as Hillary State delegates, in Denver. And, that each of us State Delegates represents hundreds of voters. And, as Natl. Delegates they now each represent thousands of Hillary voters. We can not allow anymore of this stealing of votes to continue! We can not allow the DNC to continue to try to subject us to this injustice, and in turn, just suck it up and move on.
It is time to "walk the walk" and not just be mere bystanders -- it is time for ACTION! We must do this -- our Democracy and the future of our country is at stake! My plea is for all bloggers, posters, and readers of blogs -- PLEASE, it is time to contact the names listed by Bernie.
Yes, I will write-in Hillary no matter what the ballot will look like on the Election day. Please go on, Hillary!
I don't understand why more people are not outraged by this. Seriously.
What would Obama supporters do if they were in our position? And WE'RE the unreasonable ones?!?! Are you kidding me!?!?!
Obama will never, never, never get my vote.
People are acting like sheep, when you can simply go and look at Obama's "record" skimpy as it is at http://votesmart.org/index.htm, how can anyone consider voting for a person who has no position and those he has shown are extremely self serving as is he. He doesn't speak for me, I am writing in Hillary, I also am switching my party affiliation to Independant, I want no association to this bunch of Far Left crooks who have hijacked the Democratic party and have spit in the face of the only successful leaders they have had in what 30 years.
