Who in 1964 addressed the 1964 Democratic National Convention in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Who lost her job as a timekeeper on a cotton plantation when she attempted to register to vote in 1962. Who traveled 26 miles to the county courthouse to try to register to become a first class citizen. Who was fired after working 18 years in the same place. When the man she worked for spoke to her before she left, stating ' We are not ready yet for this in Mississippi'.And she turned and stated, ' I didn't register for you, I tried to register for myself.'
Or Victoria Gray who registered to vote six times before it was accepted. But even though she were registered, the next step was participation. So when the time came for the Democratic party precinct and county meetings, her and others were set to attend. But all type of games were played from the schedules and the places were deliberately misrepresented. They would get there and nothing was happening. Or the meeting was commencing and they wouldn't permit them to come in. They realized that even with the right to vote, they were not going to get anywhere if they couldn't participate in the meetings.
So when her and others were barred from the attending and participating in the Mississippi Democratic Party. They decided in 1963 to hold there own mock election between: NAACP state president Aaron Henry as the candidate for Governor and white Tougaloo College Chaplain Edwing King the candidate for Lieutenant Governor. They had white students from Yale and Stanford who took two weeks off from school to help canvas black neighborhoods for the Freedom Vote. On election day over eighty thousand blacks cast there ballots. This was Mississippi Freedom Summer 1964. The 'Representation and the Right to Participate'.
Never. Never in my lifetime would I have thought to see black elected officials allow the history of the African American community be used for political gain. I call on all Civil Rights Leaders and Activists no matter what color, creed, demographic, you may come from to put a stop to this and to not allow this to play out and continue. They are destroying everything people worked and died to achieve. That fought to not be judged based on the color of there skin. They fought to overcome racial bias. They fought to be able to one day stand in a country that wasn't racked with attempts of segregation that didn't allow for fair representation. This is not there message.
Labels of racism applied to achieve a goal was not there message. Using words of 'racism' when people ask questions or make comments in regards to experience was not there message. To stand aside and allow this to continue, to give the appearance that racism is being applied to Senator Barack Obama will be the undoing of everything we have fought against. I will not stand by and silently allow anyone to achieve a goal such as this for those who died fighting for something they knew they would never see in there lifetime. Pushing race relations back in this way by promoting to make choices on race alone will have a backlash that will bring down our communities. Who just lost there home. Who have just lost there job. For those who have lost there homes and there jobs. You are no longer needed. You are really a wonderful voice in all of this confusion about what is and what is not important in this "historic" election. My fear is that Obama is simply being used by those who have been in power for the last almost eight years because they knew they could not get another Republican into POTUS that they could control so they picked up Obama who is willing to do anything in order to get his fifteen minutes of fame. As near as I can tell, he has not done a single thing that readies him for this awesome and important job of saving our country and those who want to continue the chaos know he is a willing party to their destruction.

Obama Ditches The American Flag
Barack Obama used donations to refurbish and repaint his campaign plane, and has removed the flag of the United States from the tail of the plane. Reports Bonnie Kapp for Fox Embed:
[T]he plane that once had an American flag on its tail now sports the Obama “O.” “Change We Can Believe In” and the candidate’s website are splayed across both sides of the fuselage, making this 757 anything but inconspicuous.
This means, of course, that the people of Afghanistan, Iraq, Jordan, Israel, Germany, and other countries will see a plane without an American flag — a plane on which the sole symbol is all about one man. Barack: Afghans and Iraqis won’t be voting for you in November. But they will notice that you failed to represent yourself as a proud American citizen while you are abroad. We’ve noticed too.

As a patriotic American citizen, I am embarrassed that a presumptive presidential candidate would fail to display a core symbol of the United States of America.
As a patriotic American citizen, I’ve been somewhat concerned about Barack Obama’s failure to put his hand over his heart during the playing of the National Anthem as well as his blather when he was forced to explain why he didn’t wear the popular flag pin.
As a patriotic American citizen, I am deeply concerned that the Democratic party may nominate a candidate who is solely focused on displaying his OWN image and symbols rather than those of his party and his country.

Summer Spin for the Nowhere Man features a smashing new strategy to win the hearts and minds of Hillary supporters. Having voraciously devoured her dignity, gone to all lengths to destroy her credibility and spending the Primary season obliterating all objective information about her Presidential candidacy, MSM has decided its time to give the little lady her due.
CNN’s Friday, July 11, latest masterpiece in manipulation, indicates the degree to which the obama (I refuse to ever capitalize his name) campaign is worried. Giving Hillary more continuous air coverage, in this 60 minute special, than it ever did during the vote-getting season, the network hinted that Hillary deserves some credit, after all. While they pointed out (in their version) that, although she ran a terrible campaign which got off on a failing footing - due to her “arrogant” presumption of entitlement to office (a perspective the MSM, not Senator Clinton, generated) - it’s now come to light that the Clintons hold sway with millions of voters.
Now, isn’t that an extraordinary insight we needed ‘the world’s largest news network‘ to make clear? And that being the case, it’s time to give this she-devil her due - for, without her, it appears their Golden Boy might fall short of their mutual aims. While the same evidently illiterate geniuses at work continue to blur all distinctions between Hillary’s platforms and Barack’s, they and obama’s conjoined Corporate cause has begun, at last, to realize his polling results are shakier, week by week, and that will not serve. A strategic new spin is, thus, demanded.
And this one, as demonstrated by Andersen Cooper and friends, requires due deference to the more qualified Clinton, her unswerving supporters and even (however demeaning to acknowledge) her husband, with his record of salvaging our Republic from the ravages of the first Bush. Ominous Signs For Obama

Today’s Rasmussen Reports analysis finds:
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows Barack Obama attracting 42% of the vote while John McCain earns 41%. That’s the lowest level of support measured for Obama since he clinched the Democratic Presidential nomination on June 3. Obama’s support peaked at 48% with data released on June 8, 9, and 10. During that same time frame, McCain’s support has remained steady in the 40% to 42% range (he’s had just one day a point below that range and two days a point above it).
When "leaners" are included, it’s Obama 46% and McCain 45%. With leaners, Obama reached 50% support in mid-June and was at 48% or 49% every day from June 13 until July 10. Since then, he has reached the 48% level just once while polling consistently at 46% or 47% (see recent daily results). Tracking Polls are released at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time each day.
McCain is viewed favorably by 57% of voters, Obama by 53%. McCain is currently supported by 86% of Republicans and holds a modest–four percentage point—lead among unaffiliated voters. Obama earns the vote from 77% of Democrats (see other recent demographic highlights).

As most of you may or may not know some wackjob decided to track me down and vandalize my car and hang a dead mutilated rabbit from my front door in a lame attempt to intimidate me from proceeding with releasing any details of my analysis. And as I have mentioned before they did succeed in delaying the reports by a few days but instead of deterring me they just really pissed me off. To their credit, if I had not taken a few days off from the analysis I would have missed the most damning piece of evidence – the remnants of the previous security border.
So allow me to say once again to the demented retard who slaughtered an animal to make a point – f*ck you and thank you. And because of the amazing number of violent psychopaths who seem to be drawn to this issue, I need to reiterate that I am not going to use or supply any details that can be used to identify the owners of the COLBS used in the analysis except for those which have already been publicly disclosed. If the owners want to come forward on their own that is entirely their decision. Some people have also wondered if the harassment issue is being looked into – yes it is. I will leave that to law enforcement to follow up on the issue so just let them do their job while I continue to do mine.
Before I begin I must first whole heartedly thank TexasDarlin for their help with completing this analysis. Without one the help of one of their readers (Michele) I would not have been able to create a full picture of the 2006 through 2008 time line. For Michele’s willingness to get involved and to send me a high resolution scan of her 2008 COLB (The last piece of the puzzle) - I am truly grateful.
Michele’s 2008 COLB made all the difference in dispelling any doubt that I may have had that the State of Hawaii may have changed the layout or equipment used to print out the documents. It was only after receiving her 2008 COLB that I was inspired to get a verbal validation from some Hawaiian state employees that there had been no changes to back up my findings. (more…)

Max Cleland–a beloved Democrat who lost three limbs in a hand grenade accident while engaged in combat operations in Viet Nam–is a guy you would definitely want to have at your party, especially if you want to be President of the United States. Aside from being a decorated war hero, Cleland was the administrator of the Veterans Administration under Jimmy Carter, a United States Senator, and remains a vocal critic of the Bush Administration.
So, it was a no-brainer for the Obama campaign to invite Cleland to appear at a fundraising event in Atlanta earlier this month. But at the last minute, Cleland’s invitation was yanked from right under his wheelchair.
Why? Well, it turns out that Max Cleland is a registered lobbyist. No, he has never lobbied in Washington. No, he does not represent a huge, greedy corporation. (more…)
Seriously, Is Obama Just a Puppet?

We first learned who was behind Obama and his inspiring speeches months ago. Those very speeches that excited the crowds, and drew people in. Those very speeches that many people voted for. Despite the fact that he ever really said anything more than just *hope* and *change*, people saw JFK, MLK and RFK all rolled into one. All because of his moving oratory, early on in the primary. But as I said, we learned who was responsible for those speeches.

So, Obama is really, really successful at reading a teleprompter, and delivering someone else’s words. A puppet, you might say.
Then we learned that Obama was regurgitating words originally given by his friend Patrick Deval. Not once, but many times.
And we not only learned about *borrowed* speeches but also borrowed phrases.
“Sí Se Puede” or “yes we can” is from the United Farm Workers.
“Together we can” was the campaign slogan of Deval Patrick in 2006
“Fired Up! Ready to Go!” is from the NAACP in South Carolina, used by Jondelle Harris Johnson in the Civil Rights marches.
“We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.” is a Hopi Indian saying, used by Alice Walker as the title of her book.
But now we learn that not only is Obama a puppet when it comes to giving speeches, but his foreign policy isn’t his either. I knew he had very little foreign policy experience, if any, but doesn’t he have to do anything?? A cast of 300 prepare him daily? Who are these people that are affecting our foreign policy? Shouldn’t they be running for office, or at least vetted, since they are doing all the work?

Mocking Obama — Left, Right and Center

I have said this before but Obama is in the unenviable position of getting attacked from the left, right and center. No doubt, McCain is in the same position with critics on all sides, however, the attacks on Obama are harder hitting and more prevalent. Moreover, the attacks seem to be having an effect on Obama’s polling numbers. Where McCain’s numbers seem to be holding steady, Obama’s numbers are not. His negatives are on the rise. Trust, or the lack there of, has become a big issue for Obama. It’s not an issue for McCain.
When it comes to the economy, 47% of voters trust John McCain more than Barack Obama. Obama is trusted by 41% down from 47% a month ago. The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey also found that, when it comes to the War in Iraq, McCain is trusted more by 49% of voters. Obama is preferred by 37%. McCain has an even larger edge 53% to 31%–on the broader topic of National Security. In terms of likely voters, McCain has been polling around 42% to 45%. Obama has been over 50% but now he is just above and within the margin of error McCain according to a Newsweek poll out last week.

Demand a Roll Call Vote

One of the central premises of IOwnMyVote.com is that the 18 million people who voted for Hillary Clinton deserve full and fair representation at the convention. This means, if nothing else, that the delegates who we elected must be allowed to represent us and vote at the convention, and that Hillary herself must have a prominent role.
That said, the issue of what to do with Hillary Clinton at the convention next month is causing all sorts of hand wringing in Obamaland. The reason? In the words of Yogi Berra, it ain’t over until the fat lady sings. In this case, the fat lady is the 823 superdelegates who won’t “sing” until they vote during the roll call at the convention.
In order to win the Democratic nomination for President, a candidate needs 2,118 delegates. Obama only has 1,766.5 pledged delegates, about 350 short of what he needs to clinch victory. Since superdelegates haven’t voted yet, Obama can’t be sure that he’ll have their support six weeks from now, especially while he continues to disappoint and enrage Democrats with his pandering to the right. With Newsweek declaring a dead heat between Obama and McCain, and the Rasmussen Tracking Poll showing Obama ahead by only 2 points, and a CNN poll shows that 32% of all Clinton supporters won’t vote for president if Obama is the nominee (up from 22% a month ago), the Obama campaign is right to believe that superdelegates might not vote as expected if given the opportunity to do so in Denver.
All this moved Clinton turncoat Taylor Marsh to go on a scolding rant against democracy, urging that Obama should make sure there is no roll call vote because that would highlight the fact that he hasn’t secured the nomination. (more…)
